Hailed by The Straits Times as “Awe Inspiring”, Lawrence Holmefjord-Sarabi is an active pianist on the international musical scene.

Recent performances include a solo recital tour of 7 US cities he played in Healdsburg, San Rafael, Windsor, San Francisco, Houston, and Boulder. In addition to this, Lawrence was invited as only one of 10 young pianists to study with Jiri Hlinka and Leif Ove Andsnes in Bergen, Norway for a 2 week intensive piano masterclass. During this 2 week program Lawrence performed at the Rekstensamlingene, Troldsalen in Troldhaugen, Norway, and the opening concerts for the newly established Oseana Kunst og Kultursenter in Os, Norway.

Together with his brother Julius, Lawrence is a co-founder of Aureus Academy, a company that opened its first Music Academy on Orchard Road in September 2013. Under his leadership, Lawrence has helped Aureus Academy grow from a startup to an award winning Music Academy with 10 operating facilities around Singapore. In a strategically planned growth campaign, Aureus Academy has enrolled over 5,000 students, been awarded Best New Music School in Singapore (Parent’s World Magazine), Best in One-to-One Music Lessons (Parent’s World Magazine) and partnered with some of Singapore’s most high-profiled organisations and international schools.
